Forefathers' Walk

One of our projects at the Robert Browne Foundation is to open up the ancient walkway through the woods from Lilford to Achurch - a route which would have been walked by Browne himself and no doubt, his congregation.

Starting at The Lynches Arch (pictured above) and meandering through seventy acres of old English woodland, the historical route can still be walked today, although it is overgrown in certain seasons of the year.  Our aim is to re-establish this charming path that now leads to the remains of Browne's Church to make it accessible to all members of the public, providing seating and facilities along the way.

The Robert Browne Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization in the United States.
