Church PartnersRobert Browne is unanimously known as the Father of Congregationalism, his followers were known as Brownists and later became known at The Pilgrims. His teachings had a huge impact on the American Constitution and Congregational Churches, even to this present day.
Browne’s ideologies were based on New Testament principles. He believed that congregations should be formed as described by Paul in The Acts of the Apostles. Browne risked his life to fulfil his calling to separate Church from State. His legacy lives on in the way that many Christians worship throughout the United States.
The Robert Browne Foundation is keen to partner with Congregational Churches throughout the United States.
